Just In!!! Important Announcement from CBS
The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful abruptly dropped from air
TELEVISION fans are set for a huge shake-up to their viewing schedules after The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful were abruptly dropped from air.
The reason behind the major change has come to light – and its not good news for loyal viewers.

A slew of soccer games in the UEFA Champions League are causing havoc with the listings, with fellow US show Beyond the Gates also booted off for two days.
Now the two soaps, aired on CBS Daytime, will also meet a similar fate.
Episodes of The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, set to air today, will run as normal for East Coast viewers.
Yet those on the West Coast in Mountain and Pacific Time Zones will sadly miss out as part of a full football takeover.
It comes as the match between Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, in Munich, Germany, takes centre stage on the channel.
Prior to the 3pm ET kick off, CBS will air a special one-hour preview, entitled UEFA Champions League today, at 2pm ET, meaning more valuable soap time is taken up.
While viewers won’t be able to catch the action on the main CBS channel, they can tune in on CBS.com, the CBS app or Paramount+.
The only show which will continue to air as usual until the matches end over these next two days is The Price is Right.
The UEFA Champions League Soccer follows the top 16 clubs in the European tournament vying for victory.
The winning team will take home glory as well as the European Cup – otherwise known as the Coupe des Clubs Champions Européens
Clubs competing during the upcoming TV guide shake up include Arsenal (England), Barcelona (Spain), Paris Saint-Germain (France), and Internazionale Milano (Italy).
The change up comes after soap fans were left in mourning following the passing of one star.
The Young and the Restless actress Dee Freeman recently died aged 66 after her cancer battle.
Earlier this month, her family posted an emotional statement with “deepest sadness” on Instagram as tributes flooded in for the actress.
It read: “Dee passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026, after a brave and fearless fight with cancer.”
The tearjerking tribute thanked the actress’ supporters who had been there for her during her illness, saying: “Thank you to everyone who supported Dee during her battle.
“It blew her away to know how many people cared about her and were pulling for her.”
Her family added: “We know Dee is up there in heaven being the force of nature she always was.
